Site loading very slow. Multiple sliders appear. Crashes browser on mobile.

I'm testing CSV uploads into this test site here - http://geo.wpx.me/

We first tested with about 20 businesses - everything worked great. We just added about 150 listings via CSV.

The site now loads very slowly, and when it first loads, we get rows and rows of sliders diagonally across the page - see image.

This is even worse on mobile - takes forever to load, with endless rows of sliders. Has crashed phone browser a few times.

We are planning to have thousands of listings in our directory, but we are having problems with less than 200.

V1.7 Please advise.

I've had this happen on a few GEOCRAFT test installs - just letting you know.

 

I think the problem is too many featured images in the slider. How can I limit them to a certain number?

 

Theme version (1.7.2) contain slider limiting option.

Go to
Geocraft settings > Theme options > listing settings / slider limit

And limit listings to display on slider.
