Hi, I would like to make my home page a full-width page with different content from the home page that comes with the theme. I created a new home page and gave it a unique name. Then, when I went into my reading options, I changed the default home page there, but when I try to go to the home page through my browser, it keeps giving me the default home page. Can you please help? How can I change my home page please? Thanks Brenda
Hi there, I believe you need to go to "Appearance", then "menus", and create a new menu. This will allow you to create your homepage and other options to appear in your navigation line up top. I think this is what you are looking to do.
I don't think that you are understanding what I am trying to do. I want to change the default home page for the entire site - so when you type in www.mysite.com, the page that comes up in the browser is the custom page I created - not the default home page of the theme. Thanks for responding though.
For the change the static home page, download and update the latest theme from our members area and then you will see the front page on/off option in theme option. Set the option to off mode and change your own created page through reading option, hence you would have your own home page. Thanks
