Hi Support, could you please advise if there would be any conflict to adding your ClassiCraft classifieds theme to the Geo directory site, I was thinking of adding it in a folder but if your can suggest a better solution such as integrating it into the theme I welcome any advice. Cheers Tob
Hello Harry, Using classifieds plugin is a better solution rather then merging two themes. Because both themes have there own login and payment settings. So it is quite difficult to integrate and manage them together.
With the AWPCP plugin were you able to configure who can post coupons? Meaning free vrs paid members?
RUSSMNH Not sure if this question was for me, -- I use AWPCP plugin and have coupons. Under AWPCP clients can automatically use Ad Sense if this is clicked on plugin set-up. I also have a separate free plugin for coupons and list this as service request in payment settings for paying customers. Coupons are set on page but can display in postings sidebar. I am thinking about a $49 plugin that would allow me to add to individual business text description as a media/picture. I plan on revisiting "contact us" page and replacing it with a plug-in that allows for client to select a contact form based upon need. That is, I would have one just for coupons.
Yes it was for you, sorry gosmartmobi. Thanks for reading my mind. This functionality is of interest to me. I downloaded and installed the plugin. I'm experimenting with it now. I've seen another Geocraft site with coupon capability but can't remember offhand which it was at the moment. It seems that it would be another incentive to give premium listings but I don't see the ability to offer it to paid only. I will look closer. Thanks for sharing the information. Russ
Hi and thank you, sorry late in reply to you, I am having trouble in getting logged into forum sometimes. I have looked at this plugin but not used it yet, I too am looking to add coupons and have purchased WP Coupon Generator which will also add a QR Code to the coupon, but have not yet devised a good method to easily allow Premium members access to coupons, rather than having to manually create coupons for them on request, which could be very time consuming if a large directory. It would be good to get a coupon and qr code source integrated with the themes some how, then it's look out Yellow Pages, here we come Welcome any views on adding plugin to directory site. Take care Tob
This would be a very powerful addition - I want this too. tobyb - any progress with WP Coupon Generator?
Hi mo, unfortunately no further ahead, seems to be parked by support, the software technology is there as it is in other similar but not as good themes. I have the WP Coupon Generator plugin ok but have not used it as trying not to give myself a lot of work when directory fills up. It provides a QR code automatically. If support could add the facility to even auto create a QR code with each listing and add it to the listing page, this is actually a necessity when the directory being responsive to mobiles, a great addition to offer subscribers to add to their flyers sending clients back to their listing. Anyone wants a good free QR code reader or offer details to your subscribers, I found this one very easy to use and will even scan slightly distorted images. Just store it on your mobile home page, Free QR code reader; From your mobile go to www.i-nigmi.mobi and i-nigma will automatically identify your mobile type, download and install i-nigma. Save on your mobile home page to easily scan any QR codes Anyone any info on adding coupons on auto pilot pretty please post info. Cheers Tob
