    Greetings

All users must agree to our terms and conditions before registering and placing a entery in the directory.

Currently there is no way to get the user to do this on registration.

How can we add something like to the registration page:

[checkbox] Please agree to to our terms and conditions [link to page] before proceeding.

    Many thanks

Okay after thinking about this, I have added a custom from.

    1. Choose radio
    2. Name of field is Terms and Conditions
    3. Choose the html variable name
    4. Put this is the description "I have read & understood Terms and Conditions"

That description does not appear under the Yes / No options. Be good if I could put a link to that page as well.

:) Lots of talk in this forum :) so I am aware you are busy. If you have the time I would really like this little issue resolved.

You can see the custom field inserted in the the add listing form but it has no description though there is one in the backend.

This is a must for any payment site. Can you please add this to theme or guide us to add this?

You can add this in the Add listing section by using / add a custom form in the admin section. Call it Terms and conditions. I set it to use check boxes (Yes / No) and added a description.

The issue is in the form itself the description does not show. Yet if you manually add a site in the admin section you can see the description for this custom form entry.

However the formatting is out of whack so there is something wrong when adding a custom form to the add listings section.

Guys can you help here please.

www.nzcbd.co.nz - click your orange button top right to go to add a site. Scroll down till you see Terms & Conditions on the left. On the right you see Yes No but no description. It is really important for our site that this works 100% correctly.

    Hello,

Most of the time site admin create a separate page on their site listing all the terms and conditions on that page. However, If you specifically want the terms and condition to appear just before listing submission, custom coding would be required to be done.

We will see if we can add that terms and condition block in the theme in one of our future updates. However as of now, I would recommend you to create a separate page for terms and conditions and place it somewhere in the site footer.

    Thanks

    Greetings Nitesh

Seems like I may have not explained myself clearly..

Here is our Terms & Conditions page : http://www.nzcbd.co.nz/terms-and-conditions/

What I asking is when they go to add a lisitng I have created a custom form called Terms & Conditions. (See original Post)

As part of the listing form they have to answer either Yes / No to "I have read & agree to the terms & Conditions"

It has a description next to it in which I put the link to the above T&C page, but the description is not showing on the listing form. See the page for yourself.

The description shows when via the admin you are adding a lisitng manually. So there is something not right in the listing form.

So, I would like that description to show and if possible the actual link to my T&C page appear as a true link in the description.

Hope that explains it more clearly and precisely.

Looking through the forum I found this post:
    http://www.inkthemes.com/community/...ebook-like-buttons-to-default-home-page.4612/

And as a workaround I added to the frontpage not only a banner advert but some text which is linked directly to my terms and conditions page.

In the custom form section I altered the Label to read "Agree to Terms & Conditions" and I have removed the description.

So it looks like this : Agree to terms and conditions(required field) : Yes / No. User choses either yes or no..

Not sure the front page text and link is the best option, but it is one way to deal with this issue.
