How to Change Width of Blog Column to Full Page Width

What code can I use to override the width of blog column so that is fits within the full page???

Hello,
Go to the blog.php file present in your Theme directory and edit that file as shown in the image given below.



Similarly, Follow the same instruction with the single.php file present in your Theme Directory.

This will solve your issue.

 

I'm sure this is a ridiculous question, and I apologize. What do I need to do to get these changes to go live? Do I have to re-upload the theme?
