Theme Options > Footer Issue

I have just istalled the back rider theme to a website that was previously using inovado theme

In the theme options I wanted to include my link in the footer

So when I typed <a href="http://www.amandamurdochmarketing">Website by Amanda Murdoch MArketing</a>

It took me to a page that said soory we can't find what you are looking for

So I typed it without the link and it just too me back to dashboard

Either way, it won't updat the footer text

Any ideas?

Hello Amanda,

You should be able to make the change you want by going to Appearance> Theme Options >Footer Settings and adding this text into the Footer Text box.

I cannot update any of the theme options - it just does not work ...... arrgghhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!

I was hoping this was going to be an easy job - can somebody please explain what is going on ??????????????

Hello Amanda,

What other plugins do you have installed I tested this on a fresh install and had no issues. Maybe worth moving to another theme temporarily then reinstalling the Blackrider theme. Its odd how your columns shortcodes aren't working correctly either.

Thanks for the reply .... I already tested the plug ins before I wrote the post - I have deactivated all plug in - still no good!
