Hi I would like to slow down the slider images and for some reason one of my images takes much longer to load is there anyway I can make it load faster?

To slow down slider you have to change the value of play in "custom.js" file.
Just Go to "goldeeagletheme -> js -> custom.js"
here you can change the value to slow down slider speed. The maximum you increase value, slider will become slow.

And your images takes times to loose because it seems that you are using large images, and it takes much time to load. So try using smaller size images, it will load quickly and also increase the performance of website.

 

Where is this file located that I need to edit. I cannot find it?

 

Hello,

You will not get theme directory in your dashboard.
You can edit custom.js file through FTP.
Open your Theme directory (through FTP) > js
Download custom.js file from there, Edit it, Then again upload it.
