I've written two posts and allocated them to various categories which I have created. Then I've customised the menu so that I can select posts sorted by categories. When I look at my site, the categories appear in the drop down menu but when I click on them, the archive appears blank. This is the site http://coffeedirectory.com.au All help much appreciated.
Post categories or listing categories are different field, so if you want to show listings through listing categories, you have to make the listing category in dropdown menu with that exact link. You can create custom menu of listing categories by examples of bellow screenshot.
Hi Krish I am effectively writing blog posts which I then allocate to categories. I then want a user to be able to see all blog posts allocated to a particular category. Is this possible?
You can effectively list all the blogposts in all the categories by creating a new Page and assigning a "Blogpage Template" to that new created page. Your newly created blog page will start to appear automatically in the top header menu. If you want to restrict posts from a certain category, you need to manually modify the blog page template to show only the posts of any particular category.
