SPAM...

I added my own business as a listing to a directory I'm working on a few days ago...and all of a sudden I'm getting loads of email spam.

Does anyone else have this problem...and a solution to fix it!?

I think the Spam is coming from my (clickable) email address being on my profile. There will be net crawlers and robots looking for email addresses on websites and then feeding them into spamming machines...which then send emails to my email address.

I don't know if there is a way round this, apart from removing the email address from my profile.

So please go to your members area and download updated theme (v 1.8) (Theme version is not increased).
You will get description in the changelog, About files which are added or customized.

 

So the download 1.8 has a spam solution in it?
