Hierarchical display of categories

While adding new category , we can mention parent category but in display it doesn’t show category and child/subcategory hierarchical.


Is it possible to show category and child/subcategory in hierarchical order while searching in select category field?

I am currently using version 1.1.3.
I can see ClassiCraft WordPress Theme v1.1.4 in my members area but there is no link to it so can't download.
I can also see classicraft.zip I downloaded that and tried to upload the zip file in wordpress. But since I have already installed this theme once,installation failed saying file already exists.
Can you please give bit more information on Downloading theme again and updating it?
Does it overwrite all the previous data?

 

Hello,

You are uploading theme with same name that's why it is showing installation failed message.
Do one thing extract downloaded zip file, Rename theme directory to any thing you want(for eg. classicraftthemenew).
After that zip it again and upload it. It will work.

I received a reply in the email from support team.
I think they have uploaded the new theme . Thanks for that.
But it doesn't solve my problem. I have sent screenshot in the email. Somehow I am not able to attache word file on this forum.
I think I didn't explain properly what I needed :
In drop down when people click on category field while searching for the item,Categories and Sub-Categories are not displayed in hierarchical order.
e.g. Grocery,ChildCare,BabySitter,Cleaners etc. are subcategories of Everyday Needs Category but they are not shown under Everyday Needs in hierarchical order. They are displayed as if they are at the same level as Everyday needs.
Is it possible to show it in hierarchical order ?
Also Subcategories should be displayed only when Category is clicked, otherwise it's very confusing for the person who is searching to go through complete list..
