new user register issue

hi,
after upgrading to geocraft 1.8 and wordpress 3.8.1 new user registration has become a problem...
after submitting new user name , email..and password again it will ask to re enter user name and
email id ..and it is sending the system generated password to the new user.... how do i remove the first instance of the login process...
