slider descriptor links

How can I get the home page slider descriptors link to the pages with the images?

Unfortunately there isn't a way to do that with our theme unless you custom code something up. Sorry.

I have tried, What you are asking and there is one solution available for you.

Go to the Appearance> Theme Options > Slider Settings panel in your dashboard and paste the code given below in the Slider Description section.

Code:

<a href="Enter your page link here">Enter your Description text here</a>

I tried that, and it breaks the text in the tabs - see attached. I also tried replacing the code <a href="#fragment-2"> in the frontpage.php file with link code as well, and although it linked the text for all but the first element without breaking it as it appears in the attached, it resulted in breaking the image rotation. I am not sure how to easily address this, but if you have any other ideas, please let me know. Or if anyone is interested in making a couple bucks to provide some assistance, please post a response here.

The link code doesn't works in the text box and we put our header text in the text box for slider caption, so the link code will not work for header.
It will work for the description area because we put description in the text area.
So remove the link code from the header section and apply it in the description section (Appearance> Theme Options > Slider Settings panel >Slider Description section).
This will work fine.

 

I did enter the code that Gourav suggested in the "First Slider Description" section under the slider settings, so I am not sure what you are asking me to do that is any different than what I already tried? Please explain.
