Geocraft Settings> Theme Options > Footer Settings > Footer Text
and add your text there.

Thanks Gourav, I had already done that several times. But I have solved the problem - and maybe this will be helpful to others. Editing WordPress with Internet Explorer has been part of my ongoing problem. After switching to Firefox, both the earlier problem with the "Listing Information" text block; and the Theme Footer worked perfectly.
