Frontpage slider not loading after update from 1.3 to 2.3.4

Hello,

Im upgrading my site since a year. From 1.3 tot 2.3.4.

Upgrade is no problem, but on 2.3.4. the place where to frontpage slider should be remains white. Even when im building the slider from scratch ( deleting all slides, adding new slides ).

Am I overseeing something? Featured frontpage sections are loading ok.
