Making changes home page

Hi there, I am just customising my home page so it looks how I want it to.
1. How do I change the colour of this area at the top of the home page?
2. How do i change the colour of this area below the slider?
3. Can I put a heading along the top of the slider (where I have highlighted screenshotwith a red rectangle). If so how?
4. How do I change the colour of this button?
Any help would be very much appreciated. Dawn
