Hi, I have followed he instructions to add social media links on my site through the theme options section. The facebook and twitter icons appear but when I click on it the link does not point to my facebook page ie. www.facebook.com/mypage instead the link is showing as www.mynewwebsite.com/www.facebook.com/mypage. How do I delete www.mynewwebsite.com from the link? Many thanks,
Add complete link (for eg. https://www.facebook.com/mypage). It will redirect you to the correct page.
I am having the same problem. I made the changes as you suggested and entered the complete web address, but it only made the change to the homepage. When I click on the social links from a different page (such as "About Us"), the social links go back to the http://www.mynewsite.com/www.facebook.com/mypage. How do I change the link so they work on all pages and not just the homepage?
