    I have copied a site from a previous theme.

    When I look at the Cloriato version, the Home page still shows lorem ipsum etc but if I look in the dashboard, the Home page shows the content that was copied across. How can I display the correct content?

    Second, how do I remove the demo image (the living room) in the slider and the caption 4th Annual Seattle Conference etc - I cannot see them in the slider area.

    Third, how can I get a sidebar to display widgets.

    Thanks

    PS Where can I find installation pdf?

    Sidebar comes with ( default template and blog template), select this template for your page where you want to show the sidebar,

    And for adding the widget in sidebar

    Go to the
    Appearance > Widgets
    Drag widgets and drop them in the Primary and Secondary widget area, It will automatically display in your sidebar.

    Thanks for your quick reply. I still have some issues unresolved though.

    1 For the Slider image. If I leave the Description blank, then Demo description is shown. How can I get rid of that without having to use a description?

    2 Sidebar - I already had it set to the Default but the sidebar does not show. The Home page has 2 and 3 columns enabled but no sidebar is showing - see attached.
    Widgets are loaded in the Widget areas but they do not show.

    I have cleared the cookie and cache.

    Thanks again.

    1. For your first issue

    Paste this code in Custom CSS
    Appearance > Theme Option > Styling Option > Custom CSS

    Code:
    #slides .caption {
    display: none;
    }
    2.For your second issue

    In homepage area widget area only show in footer and sidebar only comes in other pages of the theme like default and blog.
