Yes, apart from some of the custom fields being in a different order it is exactly the same.

Do I have to do something to get support involved or will they be following this thread and intervene once again?

Many thanks for your help, you have been incredibly helpful. :)

Pryanka or Naveen are often watching these posts but to be sure you can always email support at: [email protected] and give them full details again plus the link to this thread. I'm not sure why they should even be in a different order on your site, you are on the latest version of the theme Diane?

Yes, I am on the latest version of the theme, only installed it a couple of weeks ago. I will send an email to the link that you sent.

    Many thanks, rogerb.

    Hello, Diane..

Your map issue has been resolved...

For your knowledge, your Map Builder plugin was conflicting with the theme and that's why you were not able to display pinpoint and address on the listings.

Would also like to inform you that I just made changes for showing map on free listing as well..

Kindly check your site and acknowledge the same..

    Thanks & Regards!

Thanks Priyanka but could you let us know what the issue is as I can't turn off the map in a free listing either. Am I missing something or will this be corrected in the next release of the theme?

    Hi, Roger..

You can easily remove the map from free listings and for that, please follow the screenshot given below.

Hi Roger, perhaps you can assist me as support has not got back to me yet and I need to launch my site. PINS refuse to appear on map. I have added locations, I have added ads and marked locations and they just will not appear. 2nd question, how do I make a new Essential Data field?

    Hi go2guru

I had exactly the same problem as you, it is very tricky but I solved it by closely following all steps highlighted by Priya and Roger in this thread.

I actually stripped my locations out as they didn't seem to be working and added them again from scratch. The second time around though I added them at the same time as I added my 'Business Listings' using the 'Listing Locations' area in the sidebar, then went to the 'Listing Locations' page and edited them accordingly.

Initially, I wanted every business listing marked on the map, but this is not how this theme works, instead, you link a listing to an area, once that pin is clicked on it will bring up listings located in the area selected. Feel free to take a look at my website, it is still very much work in progress but you can get an idea of how I believe this theme is designed to work.

    Hope this is of help.

    Kind regards

    Diane

Looks like your site is working OK Diane! I now add the location in first and make sure it appears on the home page map as a pin before adding any listings to that location. Sometimes it means deleting a plugins cache pages (if used) and also the browser cache which can mask/cause problems where there are none! Also I note that the home page load time extends with each pin added - not sure if there is a limit!

Motto of the day: If it was that easy everyone would be doing it!

    go2guru,

You can add a custom field by going to Geocraft Settings > Custom Fields click 'add custom field' and in the field dropdown menu setting of the field (Required) make sure its shows 'yes'.

    Hope this helps

Thanks, but that is not what I was trying to achieve. I do coding and changed the layout of the form... so how it works in the code is that ESSENTIAL LISTINGS code gets added - individual items, but CUSTOM FIELDS code gets added as 1 lump - so no way to move fields around. If you look at my listing form you will see what I changed, but because EMAIL OR NAME is not an essential field, I have no way of breaking those two fields out to move around on the form. Its ok for now, don't mind my new layout. Just having a huge issue with images now. Site is victims2victors.ca and I need to launch ASAP

    Hi Priyanka

I am now using this theme on a second website (I will have 4 running on it in total). On the previous site you made changes for me regarding 'maps on non-premium listings', my website accompanies a printed directory, so it is unlikely to be selling listings solely to the website, so the premium listing option is not necessarily needed. So once again, I would like to be able to display the location map on all listings not just the premium ones, can you guide me to the piece of code that needs changing in order for this to happen?

    Many thanks

    Diane

    Hello, Diane..

In above screenshot, I had indicated about to remove the map from free listings.

So in the inverse, you can add the highlighted code to show the map on all listings.

Hope it will resolve your issue

Do let me know if you need more assistance,

    Thanks & Regards!
