How do i make my Social Media Button show up their page in new tab but not replace my website? Should this have option to choose? or should you change in next version? is it better or most people like current setting?

i had set it in 1.6.8, after i update to 1.6.9, it change back again, is it possible you set it in your update version - Social Media button pop up in new tab, or majority user like current condition. Then i will update myself manually each time after theme update. Tq
Hello, Most of the people doesn't like to open in the new tab, So it is better to update manually in your theme.
Actually in the USA, most people prefer for it to open in a new tab. I would like it to be the default option in the next upgrade.
Same here - for socail media tabs and for clicking on listings websites. I may want to view 2 or 3 restaurants side by side, so would need each tab to open without replacing the previous one. I vote for this in the next upgrade!

Thanks Nitesh - it does - but it if I open a second website link from the directory it replaces the first. Great to see you will be upgrading this. Do you know when the next upgrade will be?
Please clarify about which second website link you are talking. The default website link is already clickable.
What I mean Nitesh is if I click a website link on another listing - let's say I have clicked oe link for one cafe listing to see their website...and I want to view a second cafe website, and compare cafe 1 with cafe 2 side by side - make sense?
Seems like you guys are having different issues. Please create separate threads for your questions. The footer social links are already opening in a new window in latest version of the theme. similarly, The website link in the listings are already opening in a new window. the only html tag available is _blank which make the site link open in a new window. If your multiple site link opens a existing new window, perhaps right clicking the link and open in new tab is the only solution for your issue.
