    Hi,

I would like to ad reCaptcha to the contact page. Is there a way to do this with the Template: Contact? If not what would you recommend?

OK I guess that it is not a good idea to add it to the template. Would it interfere with anything going on in the theme to use our own contact plugin to create a contact form and add reCaptcha?

Ok to follow up on this I was able to achieve using CAPTCHA by doing the following.

I tried a couple of form plugins that I like better than Contact Form 7 but they didn't work for different reasons.

Plugins: Contact Form 7 and Really Simple CAPTCHA

Delete Contact Us page created with Template: Contact (if you have one).

Create new Contact Us page using Default Template.

After setting the options that you want in the plugins embed the contact form 7 shortcode into the new Contact Us page.

I tested this and it works with email file attachments.

It isn't reCaptcha but it will stop the bots and provide the desired functionality.
