Hi, When I bought this theme I was on the assumption this search function would display results by geograpical area! Am I missing something as I thought this would do more than just search by keywords in the address. If for example you live in Chelsea, London and you where looking for a specific type of shop in Chelsea but there was not one in Chelsea but there was one a few miles down the road in Knightsbridge it would come up with showing no results in your area so makes it frustratingly useless. The latitude and longitude data is captured in a field but not used in any way!! I think this needs to be added to your next update, as its a key feature.
Agreed - we need this. Makes total sense and would add massive power to this theme. Support, I believe you said elsewhere you were working on this. What is the news? Thanks
Also as an ad-on for this it would be great to be able to click on a tag and for the results to display all the shops using that tag in your area! Great for if you use tags as brand names and want to see who stocks that brand near you.
I do agree its an interesting thing to do. However, As of now, we have not planned to implement this feature in the theme. You have to look out for someone who can custom code this feature in the theme for you.
Neeraj - I would like a number of customisations. I have spoken to two developers who have both said I need to work with the theme creator as learning the intricacies of the coding itself would take a long time, before even starting to customise.
