    Hey all,

Has anyone found a workaround to the location search issue in the directory?

When I use the location search for cities it brings the results in a random order. For example, if I searched for businesses in New York, businesses there would be 4th or 5th on the results page, preceded by businesses in London and San Francisco.

Did you have this issue and how did you fix it?

There are many members who are asking about this rlaberlss - 'search' and 'location' are the biggest factors for users in any directory. These are also two things that have not yet been fixed in this directory.

I've been asking about this for a month and I know others have too - also been trying customisations to fix it. No solution yet...

Please let me know if you work something out. Thanks

Can you also give me the link to your site along with the listing which should appear in the search but is not appearing on doing the search.

The site is http://dsdlocalsearch.com. We are having 3 main issues.

    1. The search does not seem to be working properly. We upgraded the theme, but when we search using search and location it does not show all relevant listings. For instance, a search for attorneys near Oakland, shows two listings. There are many more attorneys in Oakland in our directory. I can provide screenshots if they would help.

    2. From the home page when a user is not logged in, they can not see the basic listings, only the premium. This is true even when you click on the All Listings tab.

    3. We have different graphics for the basic and premium listings, however, in the search results page, all listings show the graphic of the basic listing.

Thank you very much for your help.
