when user click add listing before login, wants to redirect to custom login page

Hi, i m using Geocraft theme. For my login and register, i used theme my login to make separate the login and register page. Its work fine. Now, when people click add listing before login or register its goes to previous "wp-login" page and not redirecting to my custom login page.

How to make it as, when people click ---> goes to my custom login page ---> after login goes to add listing page.

Please reply soon as possible.

For this you need to edit
template_submit.php file exist in the theme directory.

I have done as per your guidance but its end up with error message 500. Can please guide me in detail.

I also have another request to be solved. How to allow "Editor Account" to access "Geocraft Settings" and "Listings" in Dashboard. At the moment we see only Admin account access all. We wants to give Editor Account to our person in charge to manage the listings. Please guide us.

Hi, If you editor has access to your passwords for yourwebsite.com/wp-admin they will be able to access the
Geo_Craft Settings. Hope this helps

Hi tobyb, TQ for your support but its not helped. I am ADMIN and i can do all type of editing. and i want an EDITOR account where he only going to do manual publishing of listing. How to do this please... I used role editor plugin to hide other admin options. But there is no option to do this setting for GeoCraft...

I think WordPress itself contain role edit options.
Just create a new user, assign it role "editor". Now that user can access all your listings and can publish them.

Please check at your own geocraft wordpress first before replying.. its not working even with latest geocraft 1.8.. u try create an user with editor role. then try login in with wordpress. The listing totally not showing and geocraft settings also not totally showing... please reply soon as possible.

Hi Nitesh, I tell you, your support team all not capable persons. Don't know how to solve the problems. Especially you colleague Harmeet Singh. Is he really capable to do support. I had go through all his replies in some threads. Simple ask people to look for freelancer to some jobs even it is simple and easy which can be done at your end. How you people can expect that with your raw theme people just can change info and publish. Of course need have some customization to suit our needs. Its already few weeks gone, creating threads, and keep on follow up you people. But cant even proper reply or solve the problem.

He try to tell WordPress have limitation. What and where got limitation. Its a platform where we can do how want it. The theme makes limitation. Of course Editor account comes with some WordPress roles. But how come your theme's functions can be controlled. Means there are some codes control them where only Admin account can view and publish listing manually from WordPress Dashboard. So before do any reply check, test and give reply with respect as Support Team.

Kindly take note above points. People are buying your theme to have a better support.

Kindly solve my problems soon.

I think you will find the the support team at Ink Themes are very supportive and giving time they will provide a solution to any problem related to the WP Theme in question. Support team is working to provide support for over 30 themes on the forums providing an excellent service.

Adding numerous rants is not going to help provide a quicker solution, many here have been working with support on this theme development for almost a year and most find the service from ALL the team top class!!

It should be noted that support is only due from problems within the themes and not related to WPress but the support team have on many occasions provided support far beyond their requirements for which they deserve more respect.

I hope you can take notice of above points and give time, maybe you will get your answer if it is at all possible.

TQ for your words. Anyway i post here what the support team (harmeet singh) mail to me and monitor replies in this thread. then give your point. I understand they are supporting for 30 themes. Their themes are very well thats why we do purchase from them. We also given time. I hope u understand time is valuable thing in all business. Which already delay in launch. Before we create threads, i gone through all the threads then only we post here for help. In that time they take to reply, if can solve means no problem. But still hanging for weeks. Are you going to give up and go for other theme. I post here not to show my negative points, just ask them to get their support.

Here i would put remark that: only nitesh support is always helpful.

1. Theme contain same page for login and registration and your requirement is to separate log in and registration function. Which is a additional feature and time consuming too. We suggest you to call a freelancer for it.
2. Editor role is a WordPress default functionality and it allow user permission to edit post or custom post (listings). I have created an editor account (ink) which is working according to WordPress default functionality.
WordPress will not allow editor permission to access appearance settings which you are asking.

Hi, I understand your frustration when trying to finish a project, just some times it seems to take time to get some of the items sorted, the theme has moved a long way since it's first release and will most likely have to still go a piece yet, a work in progress to be where it is at this time. The feature you are looking would be very helpful and as many other features suggested could appear in the future.
