    Greetings!

My local business directory is coming along nicely! Thank you for this theme!

However, I'd like my Home page large top Google Map to display my listings with pins like your demo version of GeoCraft:

Mine displays only the map, but no business pin locations:

QUESTION: Is there a setting I'm missing? Please advise or send link if this has been addressed previously in Forum comments. [I may have missed this but, through several searches, I couldn't find anything resolving this issue.]

    With appreciation,
    Glory

    Roger,

Thanks much for the link. I tried the coding change that was suggested, however, there was no difference ... no location pins. Also, the theme editor code is different than what is shown in the steps that InkThemes indicated. They may have updated that code since the May posting.

Still needed: solution to this issue.

    Thanks again, Roger.

Please tell us which version you are using and would you care to describe the steps that you take that should result in a pin on the map?

    Roger: Using Geocraft V2 2.0.9

Steps : From the link you provided (https://www.inkthemes.com/community/threads/pins-not-appearing.20466/#post-80570) I attempted to add //, as indicated by Priyanka's solution here:

    Priyanka's solution.png

However, this is how my map_search. php looks:

    map_search.png

I tried adding the // before each word "echo" separately, checked results each time, and did not get the pins on any. Am I in the wrong area?

Thanks for any further advice you're able to provide.

    Glory

Well, it seems that they have a problem in their version release system Glory as several releases were classified as 2.0.9. They have now changed the change log so that it is even more difficult to follow the version in use. I use a slightly earlier version of 2.0.9 which works well in most aspects and have lodged a support issue with ink themes for this but don't hold your breath!

The very latest version: I have a very real problem with it as the map displays on Safari correctly but not on any other browser on any platform be it Mac, PC or Linux and this is not the first time this has happened!

As for the above screenshots I'm not sure what that was for as I never carried out that change on mine!

Keep bombarding support and this forum for answers to this problem Glory as it seems that this is the only way to get results.

    Hope this helps

    Hello Glory,

I have checked your site and found that you were missing to add listing locations address for your map pins.

Just refer the theme documentation for the same, you will be able to add pins there.

Also check your email, I have sent you a video of the same.

    Warm Regards!

Thanks for checking out my site set-up and for the advice, Naveen. I missed that configuration.

Now, the pins are visible on the Home Page map; however, they don't lead anywhere. Even though I have businesses identified with the listing locations, they're not showing up when the pin is clicked.

How do I make the map pins lead to the businesses associated with that location? ... like InkThemes' GeoCraft Live Preview?

    Thank you,
    Glory

You need to put the location of the areas associated with your listings, like if you have some listings with address New York then, you can select relevant street of New York from the Google Populated list in Listing Location field.

Check the documentation for more reference.
