'FREE listings show up as PREMIUM' I have to explain some more. I set the FREE listings to PAID at $1 just to test the system, and I set PREMIUM at $1 as well. I listed 3 test businesses - Standard - One Time (Premium) - Recurring (Premium) 2 Problems 1) they have all shown up as PREMIUM even though 'Standard' listings should not be PREMIUM 2) Recurring (Premium) - payment did not go through for this listing, as my PayPal account is not business or premier. BUT the Recurring (Premium) still got through to PENDING. If I have several businesses sign up for Recurring (Premium) and their payment does not go through, how will I know? Do I need to check EVERY SINGLE listing has paid before publishing? There must be a better way! Please advise - thank you.
So I think I see where the problem is for number 1) above - if I change FREE to PAID then it automatically displays as a PREMIUM listing because a payment has been made on it. This is even though it is not a PREMIUM listing! I want to keep two levels of displayed listings, the hogher paid one in the Premium blue box, the lower paid one is a plain listing. - standard and Premium (plain listing and blue box listing) instead of - free and Premium (plain listing and blue box listing) How can I do this please? There are 3 types of Listings. 1. Free Listing (Plain listing without blue box or Premium Tag) 2. One Time Payment based Listings (Also known as Premium/Paid with blue box and Premium tag in it) 3. Recurring Payment based Listings (Also known as Premium/Paid with blue box and Premium tag in it) The thing you are looking for - standard and Premium (plain listing and blue box listing) instead of - free and Premium (plain listing and blue box listing) would require custom coding. I would recommend you to find someone at Elance/oDesk for your customizations.
