40k Spam listings

I gave the options that is within your theme to let businesses create a free business listing. A week or so later, I have over 40,000 spam listings. Is there a way to bulk delete them? I am doing 200 at a time without locking my server up.

Is there a way to offer free business listings without catching every spammer out there??

Hello,

Just go to Business Listings > Business Listings
and from "Bulk action" check the"listing" and trash it listing manually.

Note: Download the updated version of theme from your members area and upload it, In the latest version of the theme spamming problem is already solved by integrating Google Recaptcha in registration and lead capture form.

Takes me 2 hours to delete 1,200....will take me weeks to delete all of them.

 

Hello,

You can select and delete 500 listings at one time.
If you select more than 500 listings it will take more time to delete and can make your server down.

To stop spam use Akismet plugin.
