Activating theme error

    I received this error when I did the live preview of the theme before activating it.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected 'function' (T_FUNCTION) in /home/support/public_html/wp-content/themes/startpointtheme/functions/dynamic-image.php on line 1
    I downloaded a fresh zip file unzipped it and uploaded it to the server.

    I will email you the wp access
