Ad injection Plugin not working at all

Ad injection plugin is not working at all in the theme How do I show adsense and Banner ads on my site what plugin works with this theme.

"Ad injection plugin" is working fine with the theme. I think you are doing something wrong while using plugin.
Please check it once more. It will work fine.

I have been doing this for many years But I very well might be or its just not compatible with the theme?
The only thing that shows is the footer adverts on all pages.
Could you show me a site that has this plugin installed so I can see the placement areas?

For anyone else wondering the same on this subject the reply I got from support was

So What I need to do now is insert the code manually into the single page (details Page) and the Header for it to properly show.
I'm guessing because the theme is not using standard codex, coding practices for the Hooks where the plugin injects the ad.
Now to find out if I can make a child theme with this theme so updating will be painless.
