Unfortunately there isn't a way to do that in the top of the homepage with our theme unless you custom code something up. If this isn't something you're able to do then you would need to contact the freelancer. Inspite of this, you can use Countdown Timer for this issue but it will work only in Sidebar widget area and Footer widget area. Download This plugin from the link given below and install it from the Plugins panel (Plugins ->Add New ->Upload) in your Dashboard. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/countdown-timer/
