Add text to home page?

I want to be able to add text to the home page under the "Featured Business Listings" slider. How can I do this?

I am using a child theme, so please tell me which file I need to copy to that folder and where in that file I should place my text. My website is https://www.flatheadguide.com.

Well, If you are using the child theme then, I am not sure about which of the pages you have modified through it.

If you want to add a line below that, then, you can edit our theme's front-page.php file and add your desired html tag at line no.20.
