After Wordpress Update, Slider/Testimonials on Home are broken

The latest wordpress update seems to have "broken" some of the functionality on the homepage of my website: http://essentialpersonnel.org/

The slider isn't functioning at all, and the image looks really weird. Also, the testimonials section seems to be no longer functioning, either.

Is this safe to do? I want to make sure that all of my "theme options" settings will remain... also, what is the best way to do this? With other themes, there is simply an "update" option in the WordPress dashboard, but that does not seem to be the case with InkThemes.

Yes, that would be totally safe and you will not lose any your theme option panel settings of your dashboard...

But you will lose your source code customization if any...

And the safe way to reinstall the theme is given below..

Download the SmartBooking theme by logging in your members account:

http://inkthemes.com/members/member

Next, you have to extract the zip file and rename that folder smartbooking like smartbooking_new,

Again, you would need to create a zip file of that renamed folder (say: smartbooking_new.zip),

Now, upload the theme in your WordPress from Dashboard->Appearance->Themes->Add New,

Then, activate your theme,

This way you can install and activate your updated version in your site, keeping the copy of your older version in your WordPress

I installed the updated theme as detailed above, but that didn't fix the issue with the slider image...

 

It also broke the google maps code in the right sidebar of the homepage
