Aligning text and pictures in full width

I am trying to have a picture placed on the left and then writing to the right. I can't seem to make this happen easily. Please take a look at the link at what I am trying to do. http://gripfithealth.com/programs/

 

To achieve this you can use column short code

This doesn't seem to be working. Please check the link. I also would like to do multiple pictures then text running down the page. Please see link and advise.
