When we put in a word that has an apostrophe into the slider headline area (for any of the photos), a \ is added, like this: "Oh my, that\'s me TEN years ago!" This is happening no matter what my method of input is, typing it directly into the field or copying it from someplace else, even if I have stripped out any formatting.

Please tell me how to fix this.

    Thanks!

Thanks, Gourav. Is FTP the best way to do that upload? That should replace the old files in the themes folder, right? I shouldn't lose any of theme option settings, though. Correct?

Will this also put the translucent bar back at the top of the front page?

Thanks Gourav. The only problem is that most of this blog page is blank on my screen. You might want to take a look.
