Hi everybody, I installed Appointway and activated the inkappointment pro plugin. I set up 3 services with their respective time and date slots. Then I checked the booking behavior. It was no problem to book 2 services at the same date-time. But this must be prevented. By having booked an appointment at, say 19/04/2017 at 09.00 am for a service that needs 60 minutes, the plugin should prevent any bookings for any service on 19/04/2017 from 09.00 to 10.00 am. However, it doesn't prevent this kind of double booking. Is there a way to accomplish a booking system preventing duplicate bookings? Best regards Wolfgang
You can make use of Appointment Count field. Just configure it to 1 for a single appointment. Please refer the plugin Docum
Not sure if I understood correctly: creating a service, when adding a time slot I have to set a "1" into the appointment count field for all time slots. That's what I had done already. But that does not prevent to book another service at the same time. It just prevents to book the same service at this time once more! Since this is a single person driven business for which I am building this website, it must be possible to block booking all services for an already ocupied time slot. Do you understand the concept? I have got your concern, Yes, the booking will be done for another service at the same time. Also, you can block the booking on a specific day/Date but you are not supposed to block a particular time slot. Solution: You are requested to configure the time slots manually for different services instead of using the bulk action of the time slot. You can input the time for each services. Warm Regards! Hi Naveen, but this renders your plugin useless for some purposes. Are you aware of this? One cant know in advance which service will be requested at which time. The service provider wants to keep all services open for booking until an available time slot is ocupied. At this moment, this time slot must be blocked for all other services since he cant attend two persons at the same time. This is likely a common request for small businesses. In this case it's a single person providing 3 different services at 3 days per week. I cant set service A for 9-10 o'clock and service B for 10-11 o'clock and so on since he needs to accept any of his 3 services at any time of opening. But once booked a service the time slot needs to be closed for other bookings. Quite common, I guess, this kind of set up. I will have to use a different plugin then. Just to let you know: perhaps you may include this feature in future releases. I bought this theme just for the plugin. So, it's useless for me. WR

Hello Maria, The configuration of the time slots allows you to setup time slots of your choice with a number of appointments option. You can allow multiple users to book a service on same time. Regarding services, you are requested to differ the time slots of the services, this way you won't get any problem. I hope you understand. Regards! Naveen Kolhe InkThemes.com
Wolfgang is correct, people brought this plug in for the appointment booking system. It is not workable when people can over book. I have only two time slots for my client per day, but I can't use the thing because it is possible to book another service at the same time. Since this is the whole point of the theme, the plug in really should be worked on and given out when it's finished and working properly.
