I received a frantic phone call from one of my clients' employees ( I developed this client's website using the Blackriders theme).

They use the lead capture form for students to sign up for classes, but they have been unable to as they keep getting invalid email address errors.

I tried simulating the problem using my email address, and the same thing happened to me. I tried deactivating plugins, uploading the theme again, but am still having this problem. Can you help? Client is having a class this coming Monday! Thank you. Valarie

PS. I reuploaded the Blackriders theme and it says it's version 2.1.1 vs. 2.1.2 which is apparently the latest version. Not sure why I'm not getting the latest version. Perhaps this is the problem?

    Hello, Valarie!!!

You will be glad to know that I have resolved your issue:) .
Please have a look at your website.

Note: - You are suggested to always put Email filed on the second position while creating a form in Lead Capture.

Hope you are enjoying InkTheme services:):) .
Do let me know if you need any help.

    Thanks,
    Praveen

    Praveen,

Thanks so much. I did a test and it worked. I looked back at the website I delivered to the client, and I hadn't changed the order of the Lead Capture fields, which leads me to believe the person who I trained to do updates to the site decided to change things around, which led to the issue. I informed my client that the email field should always be in at least the second position in order to work (I actually think the way the theme was originally developed makes way more sense...).

Thanks again for your help and Inkthemes' fabulous teamwork! Valarie
