Hello, I have written content for my Home Page and I can see the content in the admin section of the website. But when I click on "Visit Site" there is no content appearing. I have tried changing the Default Template to others and deactivated all plugins to see if there was plugin conflict, but still no content. Any ideas as to what is going wrong? Thanks in advance. Regards Frank
Hello, Did you select Front Page Display Options to Your Latest Posts? If not just follow below-mentioned steps. - Go to your Dashboard->Settings->Readings option. - Configure Front Page Display Options to Your Latest Posts instead of a Static page. - Just check your site, you will get your Home Page back. For more queries, you can reach out us at [email protected], we will take care of your website.
Hi Akbar, Thanks for the reply. I tried that, but still no content. I would prefer to have a static page anyway. Any other suggestions? Would you rather I send an email to the address you provided, or continue in this thread? As a suggestion, it may be worth keeping the thread open just in case others have the same problem. What do you think? Regards Frank
Hi, It will be easy for us when you share your WordPress admin credentials. After resolving it, we will post the answer here in this thread. Has anyone else had this issue? If so, any suggestions? I've emailed the support directly but it's not been resolved and now I'm not getting any replies to my emails. I've spent a lot of time adding content etc to my other pages and listings, but without a Home Page it may be a pointless exercise. I thought this would be quite a simple query (as I also thought about Maps not appearing), but it seems not. I've sort of ground to a halt now.
Hello, I just visited your website and found that all listings are displaying properly on the homepage as they must be, just look at the screenshot: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B5Gm0NLyPcoCd05iN2piaUFVSUE/view?usp=sharing It must be the cache issue on your browser. For once, try refreshing the page by pressing Ctrl+F5 and then clearing your web browser's cache. If the problem persists, do let me know. Thanks & Regards! Akbar InkThemes.com
Hello, I'm not referring to the listings but the actual content I wrote as I thought you were aware. Look at my opening query at the top of this thread where I say that "I have written content". It doesn't mention listings. I have also been sending you emails as requested. In one of them (on Thursday), I wrote (here's a copy below): "Hi Akbar, Just to clarify my query regarding my Home Page. If you look at Pages in my Wordpress Admin Dashboard and take a look at "Chester Lifestyle - Front Page" and click "Edit" you will see that I have written a 353 word page of content. It shows that the page has been Published, but when you go to "Visit Site" (top left hand corner - or the permalink of http://chesterlifestyle.com, this content does not appear. Not sure if this throws any more light on the issue. Regards Frank" Neither the opening query in the thread nor the email I sent you on Thursday refer to listings. Are we clear on what the query is? Can you resolve the query? I have tried the F5 cache suggestion but that doesn't work either. By the way, my query on the maps not appearing on a Free Listing (mentioned in another thread) has not been resolved either. Regards Frank
The F5 cache thing can't be an issue though can it. If it was then the content would have shown up on your screenshot. I hope this helps to at least eliminate this as a possibility.
