Hi, I'm trying to put content into the Home Page Blog Feature Area without any success (all I can manage is to edit the section title and description). I've written a blog post, but it does not appear on the home page, and I can't find the option that will make this happen. Here's a link to the site: http://www.themusicstudy.ca/ Thanks, Jason
Hello Jason, Greetings from InkThemes! Please follow the screenshot given below. Hope it will resolve your issue Do let me know if you need more assistance, Thanks & Regards! Priyanka InkThemes.com
Hi Priya, I set a feature image and the post appears now, but the image is in the middle of the post text content, and causes it to wrap weirdly -- see the home page again at www.themusicstudy.ca. I'm sure there is just some custom CSS required, but I don't know what to to plug in. Thanks! Jason
Hello Jason, Please paste the code given below in Custom CSS section (Appearance -> Theme Options -> Styling Options -> Custom CSS) of your dashboard. Code: .flexslider_blog li.blog_item .flex_thumbnail img { margin-left: -34px !important; } .flex_content { margin-right: 69px !important; } Hope it will resolve your issue Do let me know if you need more assistance, Thanks & Regards! I'm having same problem - the sample blog post I published does not show up on the home page. I added a featured image to the sample blog post but it's still not showing up on my home page: only the home page blog heading that I added into the Home Page Blog Heading area of Home Page Settings. I even tried adding the code in your answer above to my Custom CSS area too. Still the blog does not show up. My site's http:staging.womens-advantage.com. Thank you for your help.
Hello, Greetings from InkThemes! Would you please reinstall the theme once again and check after that... Here're the steps of doing so... Download the ColorWay theme by logging in your members account: http://inkthemes.com/members/member Next, you have to extract the zip file and rename that folder colorway like colorway_new, Again, you would need to create a zip file of that renamed folder (say: colorway_new.zip), Now, upload the theme in your WordPress from Dashboard->Appearance->Themes->Add New, Then, activate your theme, This way you can install and activate your updated version in your site, keeping the copy of your older version in your WordPress Hope it will resolve your issue Do let me know if you need more assistance, Thanks & Regards! I'm using a child theme. Can you please give me instructions specific to child theme situation? Do I need to create a new child theme too? Thank you.
I decided to give it a try (your instructions above) pending an updated answer from you. Unfortunately, the updated theme did not solve the blog post display problem - and it then messed up the full-width slider displaying at the top of the home page, so I reverted to the child theme referencing the original theme.
