Hi all, BizWay theme is wonderful, many thanks for making it! However, my images (gallery or stand-alone) all have a plain 2px gray border around them, not the fancy borders with shadows. Please see here for my test gallery: http://www.autohausbreit.de/reparatur-von-hagelschaeden/ and here for how I would like it to look like: http://inkthemes.com/wpthemes/bizwayothers/gallery/ 1. What do I have to do to get the border and shadows for the images in my own gallery? 2. What please is the difference between Gallery and Fullwidth page templates? (They both look like the Fullwidth template to me; what is the difference?) 3. What plugin is used at http://inkthemes.com/wpthemes/bizwayothers/gallery/ to present the images when they're clicked? Many thanks for your help! Best regards, Carsten
Hello, For creating the gallery, follow the link given below http://www.inkthemes.com/create-gallery-on-wordpress-with-no-image-repetition/03/ I hope it will help you. # The main difference between these galleries are You are using WordPress gallery and second one is InkThemes designed gallery. # We do not use any plugin for creating Inkthemes gallery
Thanks, that helped: I was able to create an InkThemes gallery. But I'm still a bit confused. Some follow-up questions: a) The key elements for activating an InkTheme gallery seem to be the set of images that is uploaded/attached to a page, plus setting the Gallery page template. This feels quite confusing though (as attested by the above blog post). Why is this not a shortcode instead, e.g. [inktheme-gallery ...] ? b) It's nice to see that a lightbox feature is immediately built-in, but it seems that captions, titles or descriptions of the images are not shown to the user, neither in the Gallery page itself, nor in the ligthbox view. Is that right? (or did I simply miss it?) If it is possible, how can I see captions, titles or descriptions in InkTheme galleries? Thank you very much for your help!
Hello, Current theme gallery don't have such functionality. You can use "Nextgen gallery" plugin. Download it from the link given below. http://wordpress.org/plugins/nextgen-gallery/ Thanks & Regards Nitesh Raghuwanshi
Hello, thanks for the update! I guess I'll just use the standard built-in WordPress gallery, along with some custom CSS for better thumbnail views, and http://wordpress.org/plugins/carousel-without-jetpack/ for the full-size views.
