Seems to be a lot of post bumping going on... as well as being against forum rules you're doing yourself no favours as by moving you post back to the top.

I'm pretty sure the support guys work oldest to newest... would seem to be the fairest way!

There is a post http://www.inkthemes.com/community/...e-your-support-question-goes-unanswered.4654/ which you can post the link to your original thread in should you think your post has been overlooked.

Lets all try to make this forum a better place to be, help each other where we can and help support help us there’s a lot of themes here that need supporting and they only have so much time. It's been my experience so far that your questions will be dealt with eventually some problems take longer than others so be courteous have a little patience.

Noted! But I have to tell you... The mere fact that you can point me to a "if you post goes unanswered" thread... indicates that there is an issue that could be addressed with some modified business processes.....

All I am looking for is some acknowledgement that I have an issue in que. That's not too much to ask is it? I am perfectly happy to wait.... I just can't afford to wait days and weeks and then find out that my post/request was lost or "misplaced".

In an ideal world I'm sure that would happen but from what I have gathered theres 4 guys doing the best they can with the time theyve got. If one of them
spends all day acknowledging new threads things are gonna take even longer to get sorted. I'm not having a go at anyone in particular just seems some people have un realistic expectations for what they should getting in the way of support, for between $40 - $100 I dont expect a SLA id expect spendsin thousands.

I hear you.... And I am probably the most realistic person you/they could ever deal with.... There is one resource, however, that I find myself jealously guarding.... TIME! I'd be happy to pay for additional support... You probably read my post to that effect in another thread.

In this case... I just need to know that I am in que. I do get your point. I just don't agree.... THEY are in business and WE are on business. In this case.... this is an issue that makes me more efficient... and if I have to wait.. it doesn't cause grief for my clients. In other cases.... our clients could be clamoring for a solution or at least the promise of one... or maybe even a "guestimate" on how long it will take to address it.

We can debate it all day... and I will eventually sound like I don't appreciate the quality of the existing product or the efforts of these specific folks. Nothing could be farther from the truth.

    Thanks for the discussion!

Totally get what you're saying Chris, you like everyone are entitled to your opinions. I know what you mean about time being precious which is part of the reason I have an Inkthemes membership, these guys provide a great service that means I can provide a low price point option to my clients. I just think it makes for a better forum if folks work together and remain civil.
