If I want free listings to have just one picture and premium to have 5 - how do I do this?

    Thanks

As I understand it, there is no way to do this automatically. My solution is to add the following to the "Free Package" Payment listing:

"You are allowed to post 1 image (500px x 300px), which you should place in the first "Upload Image" section on the left. Any extra images will be removed before the submission is approved."

That is, if you use the "Pending" mode for Free listings.

If the image is placed in the "Feature Image" section on the right, it does not show up in the listing.

Thanks - not a bad suggestion, but I'll have thousnads of listings. I don't want to delete pictures manually, or have to ask businesses to reload more images later if they upgrade.

There must be a way to do this easily, even with some coding.

    Go to
Geocraft settings > custom fields and edit "Select image" field.
There you will get "Enable for free listing" option. Check to enable it or leave it uncheck to disable.
Follow same process for all four images.
    Check image for reference.

    Nitesh,
That is good solution from the admin end, so that only one image can be accommodated.
From the front end (the customer end), however, when he clicks "Add new listing" on the home page, he is still presented with 5 uploads, except that the uploads are accompanied by a red X, meaning I suppose they wont show on his listing.

He now has no way to upload his 1 image.

This happens when the package is in its default "Free Package" position, but even when the radio-button is changed to "One Time" or "Recurring" it does not seem to make a difference, as does the "Total Price"

Nope, the red X is to delete the uploaded image.

The system allows the user to upload multiple images but it only shows one image while displaying the free listing.

Once the user upgrades all the images start to appear.

Oh, Thanks Neeraj. That's very reassuring.
