It seems that Geocraft blocks a user with the same IP from making more than one comment/review per listing. This makes it difficult to make amendments in case there's a typo or if the user forgets to add something. And what happens if someone replies to the user's review with a question and the user wishes to reply? Would he still not be allowed to make a new comment? Also, most colleges will show a singular IP for on-campus access to off-campus sites. In this scenario, if a multitude of college students try to leave a comment, it is going to cause problems. How do I disable this feature?
Just to understand, is the IP limitation to prevent multiple rating by a single user? Can rating not be disabled for a reply, i.e. only the highest level review is allowed to rate. If you reply to a review, you cannot rate the listing? If you look at Amazon, that is how their review/rating/comments system is set up. Only the highest level is deemed a review, and any reply to a review is a comment and no rating is attached to it. And users can "like/dislike" all reviews/comments to allow the better reviews/comments to float to the top.
