Hi! I am attaching a mock front page to show how I would like my home page to look. My website is located at www.testdummy24.com/endrizzi/ so you can see the actual site as it is right now. Can the slider be expanded up into the space below the menu? I can put the logo on the actual sliders (getting rid of the logo space) - leaving the menu bar white as it is? thanks!

Theme is designed to display logo on the top of slider and below the menu bar. http://inkthemes.com/wptheme/butterbelly-theme/ But if we go to your site, it display the logo above the slider and below the menu bar. So go to the Dashboard > Settings > Reading and set it to default as shown in the image given below. This will solve your issue and fulfill your requirement.
