Categories on the Home page

I am having trouble with the way the Categories are displayed on the Home Page at tnsg.gmnexchange.com via a PC- the way is presently displayed is very irritating as having 1000 products category, the page will be so so length.
Ideally, I want only the Partent Category be displayed, then when visitor/customer click the Parent Category, he/she will be able to see the sub category.
please kindly assist urgently..
