Change date format in Appointment plugin

Hi again guys

How do I change the date format in the appointment plugin frontend, that the customer see's?

I'd like to change it from: mm-dd-yyyy to: dd-mm-yyyy

For example, in the image below the date shows as 01/28/14, but i'd like it to show 28/01/14

Unfortunately there isn't a way to do that with our theme unless you custom code something up. Sorry.
