I would like to change the facebook icon that appears on my home page to one I have saved to my media library called "facebook.png". www.poppypromos.com What do I insert into the header.php file and where? These forums have been so helpful in learning to make basic edits and changes on my own! Thank you in advance! Mimi
I'm also trying to figure out how to do the following additional tasks: The page is nicely left justified - all the left edges line up (the slider, box 1, testimonial box). The right side of the slider and box 3 line up but the the video box extends about two inches too far to the right. How can I make the testimonial box narrower so the video box can move over to the left?I'd like each of these items (testimonial and video) to take up about the same amount of space - each gets HALF of the space at the bottom under boxes 1-3.Each should also be left (testimonial - it is already) and right (video) justified. Make sense? Thank you in advance!!! All feedback is greatly appreciated!
1.For your first issue Go to images directory present in your theme directory and replace your image with present Facebook image or edit it. The name of image is "facebook.png" Note:- Use same name for your edited image and remove the current image. 2.For your second issue Go to Appearance > Theme Option > HomePage Settings > Testimonial Widget and adjust the width and height of the video which you can adjust in the embed code of the video.
Issue 2 - Success! I was easily able to change the width of the video which fixed the width issue at the bottom of the site. Thank you. Issue 1 - unresolved. I know where MY media library is - where I have uploaded images that I wanted to place on the website. This is where I saved the new facebook.png icon I'd like to use. I cannot, however, find where InkThemes keeps their images (IE, that little grey icon that's currently on my page to represent the facebook link). I'm looking everywhere for "Go to images directory present in your theme directory" and cannot seem to find it. Looking forward to your feedback. Thank you.
Hello, You will not get theme directory in your dashboard. You can edit images directory through FTP. Open your Theme directory (through FTP) > images directory Download facebook.png from there, Edit it, Then again upload it.
Hello, Please contact to your hosting provider, They will provide you FTP details through which you will login to your account.
