Change Listing Ownership

I followed the 3 step process provided by:

Has this process changed with the update. The set the author of the
listing drop down is missing in my quick edit view

You are only user therefore the author option is hidden, add multiple user it will show the author option.

 

No, I added a user per step one of his instructions. The problem--I didn't change the user status when I created it.
