Here is the solution that I have shared with you: I have got your concern and would like to inform you that, you can easily configure the States from Custom Field options. Just visit your Dashboard->Settings->Advance Settings->Custom Fields You can edit the states from there. It also has an Advance Region option that puts drop-down selection for addressing, you can either opt that option from there.
