Change timing on slider

The slides go too fast for people to read. There aren't any slider controls for speed. How can I increase the display time?

Are there any other transitions you can use like fade? Can that be changed?

Go to
Appearance > Theme Option > Slider Settings > Slider Speed
set slider speed from there.

For example:
if you want to set the speed of the slider for 8 seconds then enter 8000 in the field.

There is no field on the slider settings page. Here's a screenshot.

 

PS. Shouldn't there also be a contact page on this theme?
