Changes in php file with childtheme ?

Hello again Inkthemes,

I am doing some modifications on Header.php and Frontpage.php files: what will happen if I update your theme if I use a child theme?
Are these changes (http://www.inkthemes.com/community/threads/how-translate-call-us-on-in-another-language.14264/) in the Header files and FrontPage will be lost?

What I have to do to not lose these changes when a child theme is used?

Hello,

1. Make a copy of whatever you change and where, when you update your theme then you also can change because you have backup of your file so you know what and where you have to change.
OR
2. Store an edited copy of Header.php and Front-page.php in child theme.

It will resolve your issue.
