Changing front page content

Hello Support, could you please advise how I can get a different page to appear on the home page in place of the main posts, I would like to keep the feature slider etc, just change the area where posts are showing.

I tried setting the Reading Settings/Front page displays Static Page with the selected page, but on saving the site is still showing the posts on the front page as default settings. Is the settings for doing this different for the Geo Theme? Appreciate your advice.

Hi, just a thought, if it is not possible to change the home page content, could anyone please advise how to add some static content which would always show above the Home page recent listings being displayed. Not the side bar but above the main page recent listings content.
